    Having trouble getting back into first gear

    Mine makes a clicking noise when I try to go into first from 2nd sometimes, usually when I'm doing 20+mph. Once I slow down It works fine. I always thought it was so you don't drop first by accident.

    I had the same issue last weekend, and my 2003 didn't having the timing chip so I couldn't do the "NO money LED flasher mod." I went to advanced auto and got a ep35 led. The led part is key, make sure it says led on it. It was $12.99.

    Thanks for the welcome. I solder circuit boards for a hobby so I think I could figure the voltages and currents and such out, but if I could get an orange radiantz strip for like 50 bucks I would do it just out of easiness. Thanks for the insight guys.
