    Another sticky throttle thread. Lube it?

    No bar ends. Everything had been taken apart. Previous owner used grease under the throttle tube that was sticky but eve after cleaning, same slow almost non-existent snap back. No strange contact with grips or anything else. Even removed grips.

    I can't find anything wrong with the routing of the throttle cables and when pulling directly on the throttle body it snaps right back but if I pull the actual grip and release it sloooooooowly resets and doesn't even reset completely. Should I try cleaning and lubing? Any recommendations on...

    Buell Lifespan

    04 xb12s just under 29,000mi. Last year it had about an 80% rebuild then a little accident and I finally got around to finishing it up last week. Took it out for a few hours today and it rides better than ever.

    Tips for removing/replacing primary cover

    Thanks guys. Got it all wrapped up with the exception of one bolt on the clutch inspection cover which I found out had been completely stripped out. Will be repaiting with a heli coil tonight and hopefully back on the road by tomorrow.

    Ride it. Be sure to go through all gears multiple times. I didn't and it resulted in over $2000 worth of transmission work. I've got a rock solid bike now but I would have passed had I known the guy was selling a damaged bike.
