    Local fatality today

    Sad to hear regardless of circumstance. A rider died last week where I live. Went down on the freeway and was run over by a bus. Really sad.

    Just found out the bike isn't being totaled. It's being repaired right now at the Harley Dealership. Estimated $2270 in parts and labor although they missed some damage on the report so I have to request a supplemental review for that damage. Somehow they missed the fact that the left rear...

    Electronics noob: Brake light doesn't activate with front brake..

    Thanks everybody. My wires that connect to the switch are housed in a plastic box and I found that I can get the lights to work if I pull the wires out a bit and put pressure in a certain direction where the box/wires connect to the switch so I'm thinking it might just be a dirty connection...

    I have terrible luck when it comes to electronic issues so maybe one of you can help me. I just noticed that my brake light doesn't activate when I use my front brake, only my rear.     Buffing out scratches on plastics

    I'd love to see some before and after photos from anyone who has done this. I have solid red plastics that were rattle canned white by the PO. I've thought about stripping the paint and buffing the plastics but only if I can get them looking really nice.

    What's your mileage?

    27,500 on my 04 xb12s. I always think my mileage is getting up there until I see a bike with mileage like yours. 90k gives me hope that I'll be on a buell for years to come.

    Looks great. I keep going back and forth on doing this or not and I think this seals the deal. I'm trying to cover a bad paint job on a budget and if I fail at vinyl wraping the airbox cover (likely) I'll be taking this route.

    What tires do you have?

    I liked running a 190 (mainly because I think it looks cooler) but since I have bad luck and get punctures ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME i went back to 180/55 because they are much more affordable. Stuck with Pirelli Diablo (rear) from motorcycle superstore, shipped for $124. Same on the front.
