    the fan also has 2 speeds... so it could be on high when your driving it and first turn it off and then after a few minutes it will flip to low and sounds different of course cause of how fast its spinning...

    id like to get at east $100 out of them... the 9 headers i got were off of ebay crashed for like 47 buck so headers really arnt that cheap lol... also both of my headers were taken off and polished on a buffing wheel so there super clean with a perfect gold color to them from the heat...

    i have a 2004 xb12R and i purposely put on xb9 headers... there was a big change in the mid range... if you have a 12 with 9 headders you have nothing to worry about everything is just fine... although i do have my stock 12 headers layin in the shop if for some reason you would want to switch...

    run royal purple... a bucnh of us up here in MN in the cold run thatand never have any problems... it doesnt thing out and helps cool in the summer... if we ride in a big pack of buells you can tell who has royal purple in the summer cause out cooling fans dont come on when we stop lol unlike...

    actually there were a couple reasons i went with it... first one was price of the kit... its a super simple bolt on kit for $700 no care boring or anything so pressing out cylinder sleeves or anything like that so simple and quite cheap... 2nd reason was the support of NRHS its a very small mom...

    do both of you have race ecms? it might be something as simple as hooking up ecm spy and looking at what your injectiong for fuel on decel... you maybe starving it for fuel and it just killing... may have nothing to do with brake might just do it every time you wrap it up in the real high R's ad...

    finally got the bike tore apart... gettin a complete rebuild minus crang and crank breaings... d be more than happy to post up all my pics as i go if anyone wants... ill be running a 1250 big bore kit from NRHS (nallin racing) head will be done right here with some porting and polishing done...

    if you can find one or find the muffler to convert it... a latus is exactly as loud ad a D&D if not a touch louder and makes waaay better perfornamce... i built one and absolutely love it... ive ran a few pipes and even created a few of my own pipes out of mufflers from other things and ordered...

    you can get the headers out without rotating the motor... you just gotta really be patient and wiggle them out... ive done it a few times now...
