    Smoking Headers

Hey all, About 6 months ago I picked up another XB9S that needed work. It had a horrible rattle/knock but only had 2500 some odd miles on it. With the help of the forum and specifically squidbuellie, I found out the front cylinder and piston were severely beat up. Here is a video of what it...

A little fun video of idiots

If I remember correctly, the first car in the video running into water was an insurance scam. Guy said something like a pelican flew in his way and made him run off the road. That is until the other guys video went viral

Where should I mount my GoPro?

I may try that, I was thinking of posting on their facebook page. My mount is still good as it broke off just above where it screws in, but I lost the camera and the elbow attachments.

    Tight squeeze?

My g/f use to ride 2 up w/ me on my XB9SL until she learned to ride my Blast. I had no problems with it at all. I'm 6' 185lb, she's about 5'10 or so and around 130lb. Here is a video from last year http://youtu.be/sWNcm7Lc8wc?hd=1

Where should I mount my GoPro?

I mounted mine to my swingarm spools with the handlebar attachment but be careful, just 4 days ago the male portion that connects to my mount broke and I lost my GoPro Hero2 somewhere on the highway. I walked for about 4 hours up and down the highway but never found it :( Plus side is I went...

Compatibility of stock exhaust on different years

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what the actual name is but I remember reading that certain bike years had a slight difference in their exhaust that would throw a code if not working properly or plugged in. I've only owned my 03 XB9S and SL that I bought with aftermarket exhausts. I don't like the...

Compatibility of stock exhaust on different years

So just to clarify, I wouldn't be able to use my stock headers with that muffler? I would need to get a set of 09 headers?

Compatibility of stock exhaust on different years

Hey all, Does anyone know if the stock exhaust from an 09 XB9S is compatible with an 03 XB9S? I know the 08+ have an added sensor inside them where as the lower years do not, but will that make a huge difference? Thanks

    Can't get rear axle off

As long as you antiseize (light, light coat) and torque it according to the manual, then it shouldn't be a problem next time you need to break it loose. Granted the bike doesn't sit in the rain for several years without moving ;)

    XB to a Blast?

I started with a Blast, then upgraded to a XB9 about 2 years later but kept my Blast. Occasionally I'll ride it if I'm working on the XB or just for fun. You can most definitely tell a difference and it took a couple rides to get use to the Blast but its still fun to ride. You can hammer on...

    Look at this awesome idea.

Interesting design but it would never work. Color blind drivers would have difficulty determing if the count down was for red to green or vise versa. Now if they applied the same count down idea but kept them in the traditional 3 step design, that would be helpful.

    Newby XB9S owner needs HELP!

Check your grounds as well as the battery terminals. Our Buells have been known to vibrate a thing or two loose. In terms of the throttle body mount, yes, it holds the velocity stack in place. It should be easy enough to bend back in shape.

    Stupid Question

Hey all, stupid question but just making sure. I snapped a bolt while reassembling my top end. Its part #3997A according to my parts manual. Its one of the shorter bolts that connects the lower rocker cover to the head. I have the dimensions of 1/4-20 x 1-1/4 hex zinc but my question is, do...
