Wanted: Left footpeg, low style (Lightning)

Ive got a 2003 xb9s that is in need of a left footpeg. Id prefer to match the low style peg that is already installed on the right. If anyone has one rattling around they want to rid themselves of, just let me know! I have a left rider footpeg bracket off a xb9r that is available for trade...

    Head wobble / tank slap

Just as a double check, it may be worth it to check the tail fasteners, swing arm bolt, and swing arm pinch fastener for tightness.

    Head wobble / tank slap

That sounds a bit strange, iso. I don't think there is a reason for any damping adjustments for that work. However, it wouldn't surprise me if they were changed by a mechanic that "knows better settings". What are the chances your tire is under inflated? Edited due to my lack of ability to read.

    WR426F

Ive got a 01 YZ426F available. Its going on ebay soon. Youd have to do a stator conversion... I think? Not sure if a YZ stator can push lights. High compression Weisco, cams, exhaust. Id love a tard. Owl

    RTV1000R (RC51)

I had an RC51 for a time. I love the whirring sound of the gear driven valve train. The gears are all straight cut. I put Sato banzai exhaust on it. I could knock the tools off the walls in my garage with a few blips. I'd own another in a heartbeat.

    Steering Stops

I hear you, Mike. Im sure if the stops get impacted in any serious way, the epoxy will crumble right off. After further review, I think I was distributing dangerous advice. Welding on the tank is no good either. There is a whole detailed set of steps to go through to do it safe, and anyone...

    Steering Stops

Thanks Red, Wiznut. I think I'll give JBW a shot. Its always came through for me in the past, and I'm not the kind of rider that hammers the stops anyway. I'll toss up a pic for reference when I'm done. [up]

    how far have you gone?

260 miles for my Buell. 325 miles for my RC51. 760 miles for my YZ426F. I like travelling, though.

    Steering Stops

Thanks for the reply, Mike! I think your right on with the tank slapper, or maybe it was stunted.
