    my buell committed suicide

    sounds like a similar issue i had so ill through this out there. check to see where the terminals are on your battery, if your seat is rubbing on them, and you hit a bump it could cause your battery to short from the metal on the seat connecting with the terminal. hopefully thats your problem...

    Added 500 miles to my lightning today

    04' Firebolt- Milwaukee to Chattanooga (690 mi), slept six hours, then chattanooga to summerland key (915). If I ever have to ride that far again its gonna be a week long trip. It was too much business not enough pleasure. Gotta be able to enjoy the bike and ride.

    header wrap help

    I bought the screamin eagle from harley, it comes out a charcoal grey at first then fades with time/heat/water. I took my sweet ass time measuring/cutting/wrapping and it came out good. Here they are after about 5,00 miles. I just repainted them with the black DEI header wrap paint. This...

    Eliminate stock front turn signal locations

    Just bought some except mine were flipped, as in pointy side down, they were the same angle/profile though. Had to solder transistors onto the ends of the exposed wires, and drill a hole in the fairing to tuck the wires through, not too challenging for the diy'ers. Only way I would be happier...
