    How are the Buelltooth exhausts?

The Bob, is the SG a glasspack muffler or is it just using internal baffles? My main concern is if it needs repacking, I can see no way to do so.

    How are the Buelltooth exhausts?

I was thinking of either the cone style for $395, or the squared-off style for $225. The cheaper Supertrapp-style muffler isn't bad at $250. I was leery of Supertrapp as back in the 80s/90s they were pretty much considered garbage for sportbikes. I have no idea how it would be for a Buell, does...

    How are the Buelltooth exhausts?

I searched the forum and I didn't find a whole lot. Couple threads, one said he had one and another said they were thinking about it. Is their exhaust quite loud? I don't like how quiet the stock muffler is, but I don't want to anger ALL my neighbors. :black_eyed: Is the muffler rebuildable, or...

Does the hidden rear brake caliper kit still exist?

Wow, this blew up! :black_eyed: Heh, I meant to ask kind of off-handedly, but I'm surprised at how much parts support is still available for XBs. Cooter, I'll probably hit you up when I'm ready - I appreciate the consideration. One of the things I'd also like to do is convert the XB12SS lounge...

Does the hidden rear brake caliper kit still exist?

I used to own a XB12S about 9-10 years ago, back then there was a kit to mount a single-piston Brembo caliper behind the swingarm. Does it still exist, or can you fabricobble your own?

    2007 XB12Ss For Sale

I didn't see the price listed. It's a sharp bike for sure. The pictures are sideways because the forum rotates portrait mode pictures. You would have to manually crop them into landscape mode to get them to display properly.

So I found an XB12Ss, and here she is

Yeah, I figure longer cables are a necessity. No to the Uly bars, they're taller, but the pullback angle is a more severe, 6.5" pullback for the XB, 9" for the Uly. I had fatbars on another bike and the wider bars are great.

So I found an XB12Ss, and here she is

So does anyone have recommendations for bar risers and handlebars? I hate the pullback on the stock bars, and I really wish they were taller. Power Barn has the LSL risers and LSL Fat Bars, but it's about $240-ish for the risers and handlebars. What I want are bars that are wider, taller and...

So I found an XB12Ss, and here she is

So I got it out in the sun today, and it looks like I need to take you up on your offer! :black_eyed: It's not horrible, but yeah, should not have used the cover. Live and learn. I managed to get it titled in Nebraska this afternoon without a problem, so that's nice. Got my liability policy too...

So I found an XB12Ss, and here she is

HA! I violated the first two rules right away. Stopped at Hardee's for lunch and had a panic attack trying to find the motorcycle's keys - then I remembered I never took them out of the ignition. :stupid:

So I found an XB12Ss, and here she is

So as y'all saw in my last post, I was looking for an XB12S. Well, you can't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need. :D I drove Saturday and Sunday from Omaha NE to near Minneapolis MN, a little over 350 miles/6 hours each way not including stops. Stayed overnight at a...

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

The black 09 I posted above is listed at $3900. Seller says he has all the original parts to go with it.

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

I mean, I want an "S" because that's what I rode before, but Buells aren't all that common nowadays (compared to say, a Ducati Monster) so I was trying to cast a wider net by looking at Scg and SS bikes, too. If I had my perfect bike, it would be a cherry bomb or translucent blue 2009 XB12S, but...

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

HERE is a 2007 XB12Scg, but it looks to have non-stock parts on it. I really wonder how much shipping would be from Maine to Omaha. I'd ride it, but I don't have the time and I'm not 100% sure my back would agree! :black_eyed:

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

Man it's hard to find an XB12S for sale that I could actually buy. The one in Minnesota on the forum apparently sold as the Craigslist ad was taken down, for the red one in Sioux City the guy quit replying but the ad is still up. The white XB12S for sale on the forum is up in Maine. I'd take...

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

Agreed, the way the article posed it was as if it was the best thing ever. But I rode a 04 XB12S before, and clutch pull wasn't really a complaint of mine back then.

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

I was wondering because I read an article on the Rider magazine website about the 2006 XB12SS, the article said the 2006+ clutch lever is supposed to require 20% less effort for the XB12 models. But the more I think about it, the more I like that red 2004. Now if I could just find a Cherry Bomb...

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

I'm near Omaha, so that's why the Sioux City one was decent as far as distance. I think I'll contact that person if it's still for sale close to the weekend. Lunatic, that would explain the 2009 XBs that I saw - it seems they all were XB9 bikes. Is the improved clutch all that much better from...

So I'm looking for an XB12S, advice appreciated!

So I'm looking for an XB12S (S, SS, cg), and I've found a 2004 XB12S somewhat close to home here: Red 2004 XB12S Looks to be 100% stock. I also found another 2009 XB12SS here: Black 2009 XB12SS but this one is much farther away. Minor mods, tail chop is the biggest mod. I could drive to the...
