    Just wanted to post some follow up. The seal mate was the best $5 I have spent on my bike so far. Turned out having a small chunk of dirt in the shock seal. It was dropping 2 drops a day (that I could see after I parked it each day), looked like there was some shock oil that feathered the wheel...

Tell me if I'm crazy thinking that the leak is coming from the bottom, where the lower shock goes into the "hub", if you will, that is stamped with Buell. Does that sound possible?     This is exactly what I'm looking for! shopping for an xb12s or SS for my first bike, and I've been looking for one with high miles. I have my heart set on a buell and wanted a high mileage bike to get acclimated to. What are you thinking about asking for it? Can you post some pics? Thanks!
