Backfiring on deceleration with a Drummer pipe - normal?
I have an 08 and put a drummer on 6 months ago. rode it for a while with the same decel popping. Got the EBR ECM, plugged it in, did the simple TPS reset, then the instuctions said to let it idle for 10 minutes to let the IAC reset, and it was done. No more popping, and smooth power and response.- 08levin

Looks good, but obviously an artists rendition. Too clean to be real. I like the look of it though! It is a custom build for a customer, but they may make a "kit" that you can build if this one goes well. -

Need a couple measurements...
Are you talking about the tail section locations where it mounts to the subframe? If so, I got this rough measurement with a tape measure: Upper: 6- 3/8" Lower: 11-1/2" to the outside of the tail section fastener locations. Don't have tail removed to get to the subframe tabs.- 08levin

reflash ??
no problems with my xb12 after re-flash or the comfort kit. That's all I had to tell the dealer and they knew what it was. I like it. shits off the fan when under 10-15 mph. comes on anything over that and if it s running hot.- 08levin

Muffler removal question
I had to fish the deep socket onto the clamp bolt first, then attach the extension. Don't remember, but I may have had to just get the 1/4 drive end of the extension to loosly engage the end of the socket and use some pressure so it wouldn't slip. I tried a wobbly, but combined with the deep...- 08levin

Another breather mod/catch can
Rubber bushing just to the left of the filter in your picture = front isolator I think. Looks dry and cracked from my tiny smart phone view.- 08levin

Joser - Definitely adjust the suspension, or you'll be see how light the front is when accelerating, and how much it dives when you stop. I've gotten away with just adjusting the pre-load on the rear for spontaneous rides, but if you have time, do it all. Like someone already said, make sure...
