Need help with Tail/Saddle Bags please.
I have the lightning set, and it also has some brackets, but they are for re-locating the side reflectors, not for securing the bags. So, i wouldn't say 100% that they are for the bolt. Hard to tell from the pictures.- 08levin

CALIFORNIA RIDERS ... sell the XB9R here or there?
Probably not an issue with an '03, but double check the DMV rules for bringing a bike to CA. Under a certain mileage, and they won't let it in the state. Might not apply if you are moving here? Only for residents importing vehicles? Not sure about the emissions part either. CA bikes have... -

Is that mounted to he forks, or some sor of bracket to he frame/motor? I wonder how a good cross wind will mess with steering? Looks kike the cruiser picture as it mounted to the frame.- 08levin

How often is everyone needing to top off oil on XB's?
Check out this thread. I had the same issue on my 08scg. Then after they rebuilt the top end for the valve problem, they put in synthetic and the rings never broke in. Took it back to a different dealer and they did another top end job and said go with regular oil. So far, so good...- 08levin
