    New Helmet? Gloves? Body Armour?

I always wonder how well the mesh protects in a slide, somehow I just feel safer with my heavy leathers leathers, the mesh looks like it would just rip apart. Nothing wrong with textile if it is the right fabric and properly sewn, but the mesh, I don't know…

    New Helmet? Gloves? Body Armour?

I wear Vanson heavy leathers with armour in the knees, elbows, shoulders and hips, no back armour yet, I'm looking at a couple of different options for that. I love my leathers, they are super comfortable but not the coolest to wear on hot days, but I'd rather be a little hot than unprotected...

    PETA crashes biker gathering

Of course its not true Fatty, that's why it said "[Satire]" at the top of the article. Point is, it is pretty funny, at least to anyone that has had a confrontation with them.

    PETA crashes biker gathering

Got a chuckle out of this and thought I'd share it with the group (you need to scroll down a bit to find the article): http://www.fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/peta-crashes-biker-gathering-not-to-be-missed/27275

Not a cheap kit, but not unreasonable. How is the new rod held in the master cylinder piston and how long is it?

    Larger Oil Cooler

Cooter, it is the GP shift pattern which allows easier upshifting coming out of turns when leaned over

Other than my own I see maybe one other Buell per year…

    SS hardware strength?

Yes, most fasteners, especially the cheap ones from Asia, come with a token cad or zinc plating. For your type of environment with high humidity, heat and some salt in the air you need either galvanized or better plating, or stainless. Try http://www.boltdepot.com/Chrome-nuts-and-bolts.aspx...

Yes the stock mirrors are useless and if your new ones are as good as mine you'll be very happy with them

    SS hardware strength?

Depends in part on the grade of stainless bolt. 304 & 316 ss are considerably less strong than a grade 8 bolt. The the other concern is that they are fairly soft metals and the threads deform fairly easily either from overtorquing (you can't torque them to the same specification as grade 5 or...

Excellent deal, I'm certain you'll be very pleased with them. I find being able to see well behind and to either side without having to turn my head very reassuring when there are cagers around…

    Ontario?

Thanks. I was hoping to get down there this year with my Firebolt, but it didn't work out, hopefully next year. Long drive from SSM though so more than a day trip :-)

    Ontario?

Interesting pictures! Lot of people there that day. I'm confused though, I see 3 Buells in that 1st picture you posted, an XBR an XBS and is that an X1over on the right? Or was your previous comment referring to a previous occasion? Thanks for the pics.

    Brembo Rear Master Cylinder

I've got a caliper, what I need is a better master cylinder with brake switch and with mounting hardware, spacers, new fitting to attach the reservoir line and a plunger to work with the Buell brake lever fork.

I love my bar end mirrors, they weren't cheap but there is no vibration in them, and I have great crystal clear rear views on both sides.

    buells totaled / I,am not

No big deal Internet, no reason you should know. I agree about keeping them on the road, they are pretty unique bikes and living examples of the radical (at the time) new technology and design which has really changed bikes from what they were when I was young to what they are today. It is...
