    Yes , try WD-40 first befor heat. If you do heat do it slow and have someone putting pressure on it as you put the heat to is. You don't want to over hear it.

    Have a 03XB9S and a wife that is 5'0". Looking to Change stock shocks for SCG. Would like to trade for Rear (yellow) shock, front tubes/ lower tree, and sidestand. Or buy outright yellow shock, sidestand. Can silp front tubes.Thought I had a trade , but it fell through. In N. Ga. Can meet.

    Ridiculous exhaust...

    I have a Hawk on a ULY.. Runs great and cheap to buy. Randy is great to work with. I got mine w/ a 2 day turn around. Am working on getting a XB9s back on the road a picked up a couple of weeks ago(bought A wreck). Will put a Hawk on it also.

    DEI "Titanium" vs Fiberglass exhaust wraps

    Just picked up a XB9S that has the silver wrap(looks bad). Have about 1/2 can of paint left. Going to try painting befor rewrapping. When I get to doing it I'll put some befor and after pics. Have a few other higher priority projects to do first.

    I used DEI black then sprayed it with the black paint that came with the wrap. It has been on the bike for a little over 4500 miles.

    Try gettin ULY cables, they should be plenty long. Not to jump this post, it is about higher bars(kinda) , I have a lighting I'm wanting to put ULY bars. Does anyone have one w/ cables , lines, and or controls for sell of trade for a lighting set up.

    buell factory right side scoop

    Took the easy way. Tweaked the tab on the rear mounting point enough to slide the scoop out. Best thing is it didn't break off.
