    If the header is bent and needs to move alittle what would you suggest? hit the header pipe with a hammer and a piece of wood against the pipe to protect it? or would that not be a good choice??

    I will take it off and reinstall it tonite and see if the header can move and or the pipe twisted clockwise and see if I can get the clearance but you are probably right the header could be bent just enough to hit the wheel. The bike only has 5000 miles on it and the bands were installed upside...

    What I think I need is a wedge on top of the pipe against the arched aluminum so the pipe will just clear the wheel ...I have tighten the front strap and connection to the header and I loosened the back straps all the way and I can fit a piece of paper in between the pipe and the wheel rolls...

    I loosened everything up and tried to push the pipe back but not clearence is there. The only thing I can do would be cut the pipe out where it is rubbing? any suggestions???

    The belt tension wheel is rubbing on the exhaust outlet. The race pipe is from an xb9 it fit pefectly onto the header and I really can not push the pipe back any further

    Ok I installed my race exhaust today and when I went to move the bike out of my garage to start it up it felt like the brakes were on as the bike did not roll freely in neutral it rolled but not freely? I checked the brakes to see if the tail lite would get brighter and the tail lite did not get...

    quick, easy exhaust fun!

    I did the mod tonite and took it for a spin and I love it sounds better runs smoother especially when just taking off in low rpms.It feels like it has more torque. I can not wait to get my race pipe put on but this will do for a few days.

    So you zip ties the cable so it is stuck in the open position and you do not attach the zip tied cable back to the servo correct?;)

    How do you adjust the pictures can you rotate them? Yes I love my Element! The bike fit perfectly rolling right in on a $50 ramp I bought @Harbor freight. Got my new Buell home no problem!

    Thanks I see that there is no valve on the pipe but I think it is a race pipe so I would not need it the valve any way if I get a K an N filter correct.
