Modified stock exhaust (pics & video)

The finish with the "Glossifier" top coat is still pretty darn tacky—I bet I could stick a piece of paper to it if I pressed and held it there for a second or two. Surprisingly, bugs, tar, whathaveyou all wipe off with some quick detailer spray (like Meguiar's or something you can find at an car...

Modified stock exhaust (pics & video)

Also Plasti-Dipped the front white and the tail black, with their gloss sealant coat on top—we'll see how long everything holds up to bugs and washes.

Got a ride-along video... sorry for the wind noise. Some tape over the phone mic next time. 3PF3ueVtGLk

    Passanger Peg Question?

I had an XB9R and the pegs looked damn near identical between the two. I would say you're pretty safe going with the 1125 unless someone knows for certain otherwise.

Do you have EBR Race ECM?

I don't think you can adjust the speedo easily, but I'm sure it can be done with a speedo-healer inline type unit. Above 55 mph, my GPS verifies 5-6 mph slower than the indicated speed on my CR, and I have a stock ECM.

Modified stock exhaust (pics & video)

I was talking to a friend who does welding/fabrication for a local H-D race shop, and we got around to the subject of modifying my stock exhaust to release a bit more thump and volume in the auditory department. I wasn't really trying to make it super loud since my girlfriend rides pillion often...

    Any riders around York, PA?

I'm from Wesminster, but went on a ride Sunday morning all around Glen Rock, 616, ate lunch at Quaker Steak and Lube (never been!) Didn't see any other Buells, though. Buddy had a new FZ-07 that he had a blast flicking around. Thing sounds good with a Akro pipe on it!

    She's a mean CR

It definitely hides that area well, coal. Especially with the molded shape of the puck, it'd introduce some more design lines to take your eye away from the pod if it pulls away from the frame weird.

    She's a mean CR

You're great, guys, thanks. Lobster clan, assemble! I'm in Wesminster, Jay. Frame pucks are from a Uly (americansportbike.com if Al still has them). They fit 99% and only peel a tiny bit off the frame (talking 1–2 mm worth) on the inside where your knee picket is, and only after a year or so...

    New Google Map for Buellers

The map has been cleaned up a bit: • If your username was on the map multiple times, I deleted the duplicates and kept the one with the most info filled out or unique icon. Those of you who marked your home town and college town locations, I kept those—so only duplicates that shared the exact...

    HID recommendation for the CR

That's awesome—good luck with the project. I would have liked to do that with the Morimoto mini projectors, but in the end the cost drove me away. I don't do much night riding anyway, but the dual low beam (plus the look) would be great to have.

    New Google Map for Buellers

I'm going to go though and clean the map up a bit. Duplicate names, routes, lines, and markers that are obviously not usernames fre will be deleted. Any body else having any problems?

    saddlebags

I use the Cortech sport bags, they fit nicely on the CR. They're a few years old now and have held up great—even the rain covers work well. I see they've updated them recently to a couple different versions (2.0, contoured, etc.), so I can't speak to them. If they're anything like the...

    HID recommendation for the CR

Global Eyes: Yes, on the CR headlamp, the left side is low beam and the right is high beam, with both staying on for the high beam. You shouldn't need anything special, inde.
