    Drummer or Jardine?????

    I'd go drummer even though I have a Jardine. Mine came with the bike and I've repacked it once since then. I like it but have heard a few Drummers and it make me jealous. A nice deeper tone if I recall. Do you get all the mounting hardware for the chin fairing with the jardine?

    Sounds maybe whoever had it before you did a headlight mod of some sort. I believe the brown and white is the wire for the parking light. Are the wires that are connected to the harness, connect to the matching wires to the bike?

    When I went to adjust my clutch the first time, I had the rear wheel off the ground. Before adjusting the clutch I had it in neutral and started it up. The wheel started spinning. I thought that was wrong so I adjusted it so it wouldn't spin in neutral. Which way is right?

    You think a simple TPS reset will fix it? SInce you disconnected the cable I would have thought that maybe the problem.

    I don't know. 8 years and only 3000 miles... with dents and oxidation... Sounds fishy. As for the noise, I'd say if it's enough to make you wonder, since you've already had one, I'd look more into it.
