Personally, for an 06 I'd be looking for something closer to stock, although there are some good goodies on that bike. BTW I have an 06 Uly and enjoy it. Even road it coast to coast once. Buell engines already have a lot of torque and HP squeezed out of that engine without a Hammer Kit, Cams...- jl551c

Thanks for the info. From a little bit of research on some really old forum posts, the newer 07 forks are like you said, progressive, and were changed in 07 to improve on-road handling. I thought maybe I could dial up St Paul and order a couple 07 and up stockers and try them out figuring...- jl551c

Thanks Kenny, I checked out the websites. Looks like both places have the HyperPro springs. A quick look shows about 129 bucks for springs. Not sure if its worth it or not yet. I'll have to do some more research. I'll look up what stock 07 springs cost and try to see if it'd be a hassle...- jl551c

Well, I've got a right fork seal leak on my 06 Uly. With the bike being 13 years old with 20K+ miles I've decided to do both fork seals and replace the fork oil. I have to say that I ride less on weekends and won't even attempt to ride on 3 day weekends. I'm 57 and retired, so this isn't a big deal. Too many cars on the road, too dangerous, especially here on the central California coast where tourists are looking for a place to park or a place to eat... -

Just curious if any of you have experienced being treated like crap because you're a motorcyclist. Any stories? Here's a couple: My wife and I rode to a local restaurant. We were wearing leather jackets, carrying helmets and as we walked into the restaurant the hostess gave us a dirty look... -

We've covered this in another thread, but I think that Future Street Fighter looks pretty bad-ass and I will be tempted to buy it when it shows up in my local HD dealership. Could be good for their future... If it performs at a decent price it will sell. If it lacks performance and priced too... -

Looks like you had a great ride. You passed right past my neck of the woods on the central coast. Loved the pics. I find it hard to stop for pics and always regret it later. NJ, I thought that was the blonde girl's feet. Thanks for pointing out that it was Cooter's.
