    Check out Amazon for bar end mirrors. I got mine there( they were for mountain bikes) 2 mirrors came shipped for $26. I've had them for 3 years now. BTW. where do you guys put your signals once you "chop" the grater?

    Whats this noise?

    I used to use Amsoil 20w50, but after toasting my crank bearing, i've been using H-D 20w50 and H-D formula + in the trans. If it was good enough for the factory to fill, its good enough for me. I don't need exteneded oil change intervals, it's such an easy job. Everyone has their preference...

    Failing fuel pump Q ?

    I notice that about my bike too. During initial cold start-up, when the fuel pump primes, it's much noisier than after warm up or after i've ridden for a while. I'm not worried about it though, i'll just ride it till it dies. It's a fuel pump in the frame. There's nothing to muffle the sound..:)

    What bike? My xb9s did this after i removed and re-installed the line. If this line threads into an "elbow" that threads into the cases, then it's the same one that troubled me. I removed the line, then the elbow. I think i had to remove the oil pressure sender to remove it. Then i applied...

    I didn't change any trans components when i rebuilt my engine, but they're exposed as soon as you open the cases. No magical special tools that i know of. Always a good idea to buy the gasket kit $216 cdn for when you put er' all back together. Changing the shift forks shouldn't be too much...

    Buell XB / day Light Bulb Reference / type / info needed ****

    I'm pretty sure it's just a #194 automotive bulb. They can be either clear or amber. I think it's for UK standards, not installed when shipped to U.S. or canada, but the socket is there ready to go.

    Bike running hot

    Maybe a silly question, but, did you recently have your oil cooler lines off? it's possible to mix them up, and it will make the engine run super hot. After a 10 or 15 minute ride it was soo hot,I couldn't even touch primary cover. reversed the lines and all was well.:)

    strange noise rebuild

    Brad08- I think the neutral switch was a standard 5/8 deep socket. Threads in like a regular bolt.. 3000+kms on rebuild now, and still holding together..
