    If that's all it needs then fixing it is nothing. The bike is worth more than you paid as it sits. Parted out worth even more. As long as the frame is ok fix it and ride it.

    No it just plugs in under the front pulley cover. As far as checking it....I think you need ecm spy to check if it works. You can check it's timing to make sure it's times right with a voltmeter. The coil may be getting power but not putting out what it needs to which can be checked with a volt...

    Yes several on my truck. Front tag Back window And my spare tailgate I use when hauling bikes or in this case cinder blocks for the snow.

    The Trans is shot in both her motors that's why she isn't looking to sell as a whole.

    You can test the coil on the bike now to see if it is the problem. Download a service manual if you don't already have one for the how to on it.

    Right side of bike under the cover held on with rivets. When mine went you could tap on the sensor itself and the bikes idle would go crazy or just die.

    Also check cam position sensor. When I had intermittent spark problems that was the issue.

    im looking at a buell xb9s

    I like my 12's but a 9 isn't bad. If you really want a 12 you could get one for the same price just may have to travel and be patient. If you get the 9 there is always room to go bigger later on. I still love the look of a clean black and silver xb9.

    09 SS Spark Plug Change

    Taking the base plate off gives you a little more room to play with. Last set I did I found it easier to pull the wires off the coil plug them on the plug and then back on the coil. You do have to get a little rough with it just use your logic on what is to much.
