    Susquehanna Valley Harley Davidson- 5*

Gotta give Susquehanna Valley HD a 5 star rating on customer service. I broke down just N of Harrisburg PA and ended up towing (AAA) the bike to them. While they couldn't do the repair (Voltage reg or Strator) they did let me store the bike while I arranged for shipping to Greenville, SC where...

fassener size - passenger footpeg braces?

does anyone know the thread size and length of the bolts that attach the passenger footpeg brackets. I have to install them and I won't see the bike for a couple days and wanted to pick them up before I get there to do the install. looks like 1/4"/20 standard thread but that's a guess and no...

08' XB12STT New to tuning. Have questions.

this makes sense and I hear where you're coming from. If one went for say pkg 3, what other costs are involved and assuming the stock ECM is good enough? I think this may make a great winter project! a summer/winter map sounds great as we ride in winter AND 100 degree SE summer.... friggin'...

08' XB12STT New to tuning. Have questions.

The Tuniversity looks great but I have a simple question. We have 2- 100% stock '07's a ss and a stt. they seem to run pretty sweet, as is. How much are we leaving on the table by keeping them stock and having (relatively) few issues with tuning? Obviously you are going to say a bunch, but...

thanks CC. many of the things you mentioned are already on our list. We have a bunch of friends along the route, in fact many have said we better stop by or they're going to be PO'ed! we'll catalog/ bookmark the MC shops that could help out and mostly we have 60 days so... we're taking it...

    maintainence ?'s

yep, we'll be spending a couple weeks in Cape B! our plan is to stay on the backroads the whole trip, of course. that's the way we roll. HDGarage, we have bikes in Easley as our company used to be there. they moved to Greenville. We live on the west coast but travel alot. gotta love 28, eh...

    maintainence ?'s

Thanks for all the good stuff! the clutch cable is something I didn't know about! I have a pretty complete tool kit and spare parts inventory going. I'll check the bearings good and bring some spares. The trip is 60 days long leaving Greenville SC and looping up to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia...

    maintainence ?'s

thanks go! that's what I was thinking. since I don't want to be stuck somewhere unexpectedly (no one does) this maybe the ticket, at least on the bike that has 14k. are there any visual tell tale signs that a bearing is going? steve

    maintainence ?'s

We have a couple '07's - a SS and a STT, with 9,000 and 14,000 miles. We're planning a long trip this fall and I want to feel good about having the bikes maintained as good as possible before the trip. We take them to an Indy who seems to do a good job but he's a HD guy, not Buell. I don't...
