    Need new ecm

$300 is high in my opinion. But you can ask that seller in Thailand to provide details on how the tune was obtained and what were the tuning goals (ie, driveability, or only dyno WOT maximum power). Other folks on the forum recommend a particular website for buying maps, but I have no experience...

    XB12 header installation problems

If the distance to both studs is different, then maybe the front/rear flanges are reversed, especially if the one flange ring fits on the rear but not the front. Where is the other flange? Is it identical?

    ECM spy setup 2008 XBSS

I'm sure it is frustrating! And is probably hard to run an engine without the headers attached! No worries - just wanted to clarify what would be needed to get you the best diagnosis. A video would be good, but an actual recorded datalog under failing condition will be the most helpful.

    XB12 header installation problems

Both studs appear to be the same distance from the exhaust port, and it doesn't look like the local guy had to do any work to the head itself other than extract and install the new stud. Can you tell if both studs are perfectly perpendicular to the head? Are the front and rear flanges different...

    ECM spy setup 2008 XBSS

A single screen shot just doesn't give a complete diagnostic picture in this case. 318 RPM? You mentioned O2: The O2 sensor is inactive in this screenshot. Rear O2 is 0.1 - it should constantly cycle above/below 0.49V w/ the engine running, so without an actual datalog (or video, at least)...

    bike is trying my patients

Dr. Beadrunner, on my 2008, it is 22 mm hex. There may be a tool in your tool kit - it looks like a long nut with a clip in the middle, and there's also a wrench to turn it with. The pinch allen bolt is 3/8" hex.

Any update, telefanaticx? No rush on my end, obviously, but I think I can help... just need a little info. >> When you connected with ECMSpy for Mono, which ECM type did you choose on the Serial Port selection dialog? What was the ECM type it reported (ex: B2RIB, BUEGB) after connecting? If...

    ECMspy gurus

In addition to lowkey's guidance... the more info you can provide, the more we can help... screenshots, error messages, ECMSpy version, cable com port#, etc... For example: Do you get an error? Do you get anything? Are you using ECMSpy or ECMSpy for Mono? The ECM only shows up under the...

    Torquing

ha ha yeah even on those screws that come with the dried thread locker already applied, I add more thread locker. :D

    Torquing

If you had to re-tighten them, then I might recommend going a little higher in the range, such as 105 in-lbs. Of course, the nearer to the limit you go, the more accurate you want your torque wrench to be. Thread locker also helps on parts that vibrate :)

    Torquing

If you first tightened them evenly and in the specified sequence shown in the manual (as you said), and THEN torqued them to the final spec, you won't have any issues with warping. It is important to not torque the bolts from completely loose to full torque without first tightening all of the...

New Owner of Buell XB9 super modded.

Hi ztied, telefanaticx has an EBR ECM for pre-2008 (DDFI-2) model Buells. It is most likely a B2BIC, which is not listed as being supported by either Tunerpro or ECMSpy for Mono. However, what I am trying to help him with is the TPS reset, which can be done, but I need info back from him first.

No download option that I know of. This is the same format that Buell provided on their website, minus a few photo illustrations that didn't get picked up by archive.org

Yes sir! I really wish H-D would have left a static version of the Buell website online.
