    What lunatic said about the nouse while having the wheel elevated is true. Everything ive owned from dirtbikes to my buell has done that. As long as it isnt occuring while youre riding, yiu should be fine. [up]

    Sticking piston maybe? But that doesnt explain the clunking, imo. I assume youve tightened and installed everything adequetely . Sounds like there is play somewhere. The hardest part of a rebuild is putting the pistons back in, so dont fret too much if you go that route. Obvious, but worth...

    Fabbed up my tail piece

    This is on my list to do with my new tail. gotta find a local welder to weld the plate on for me(should be fun) or if someone here would do it if i sent them the pieces to weld, thatd be sweet. Time to start cutting!

    engine rotate, stuck

    Just did this a weekend or so ago to replace some intake gaskets(yes i know you dont need to but i wanted to because im not the original owner). yeah that little bolt is pain man. everything else is pretty straight forward.

    Hawk Performance Mufflers!!!

    Bought my bike with a hawk, love it. Cheap ceramic coating needs replaced from the previous owner, but other than that it sounds great. Just not sure if my bike is mapped optimally for the open airbox and hawk. Suppose i should give randy a call sometime lol.

    The only problems ive had commuting 45 minutes one way to school 4 days a week are things that ive done and personally farked up(ive learned without any serious consequences, luckily). That or idiotic stuff the 2nd owner did. Still finding insanely torqued bolts where he had attempted...
