    1125 vs vRod quarter mile

I have a vid on my facebook of mine stock vs a vrod and a year later with my PCV and Exhaust with a tune vs a turbo vrod... 1st race was a blowout, 1125 easily. 2nd was close, but I got him in the end still. The weight is a huge advantage for the 1125. Even with his turbo, I stayed ahead after...

    Rear Wheel Removal Question

Probably, but those are the pressures I run based on what works best for where I live and ride on a regular basis. Obviously, if you live out in Cali where it's hot as hell in the summer or in Wisconsin, where it is relatively cooler these might be different! And since you asked, I googled it...

    Break Pads

Depending on how I rode, 9-10,000 miles with somewhat aggressive braking into corners on ebc-hh sintered.

    Rear Wheel Removal Question

I always ran 32/34, here's why. Air expands when heated. By the time they get to running temp, should be around 34/35 front to rear. I have found out through my experience that too much in the rear can cause slipping, and too little can allow the rear to wallow. Front is basically the same. When...

    Exhaust decisions.

it's a difference of .26 seconds, which could have simply been an early shift. show me where and who ran these bikes against each other and how many runs were done, and don't tell me it was another exhaust manufacturer doing the tests, their brand is always best lol. i only say this because i...

    Rear Wheel Removal Question

i ran lower tire pressure for wheelies for about 2 months and had to replace the rear, then started cornering through some back road routes and that lasted another 2 months. i switched to 2cts and got the same results, maybe a couple hundred more miles but the corsa rossos never slipped once for...

    CLUTCH LEVER PROBLEM

Sorry for the lack of proper terms, but when you pull the lever off, where the tip is supposed to actually push into the assembly, look in there. There should be a lever or rod that goes in when you pull the lever. For reference just look at the brake lever, I believe they are similar. You...

    Dented pipes on 1125r?

i almost guarantee they used a mallet to pound it off in hopes that it wouldn't dent. i did the same thing when i took off my stock pipe because the gaskets were so tight.

    Sudden Throttle Opening

take off your air box cover, the air filter, and the big ass plastic housing under it. from the position of sitting on the bike, towards the top of the frame, there is a rubber hose about a 1/2 inch in diameter that sits near the two cables on the inside right of the frame. this hose needs to be...

Exhaust Warning!!! (FMF Apex CF/TI exhaust)

Had it on for around 2k, funny thing is we weren't even hitting it hard and it just went. I followed all the break in procedures but like I said, they informed me of a flaw and the Customer Service dept. was great and will have my new one here in a couple weeks or so. Just a heads up for those of you with an FMF Apex CF/TI exhaust, mine just blew apart last night.
