    Second update Had a ECM reflash done and now the problem is defenitly gone. Bike runs like a train and much cooler as well.[up]:)

    +1 on the Madstad system, I have it with the standard low windshield and even with that it makes a difference. With the taller windshield or the Madstad windshields it must be even more comfortable.

    Front suspension 06 uly

    Make sure you have the front all set as per the manual to your weight etc.[table 18 on page E-73 of the owners manual] If that is not enough, stiffer/more progressive springs and/or thicker oil in the suspension. Grtz

    08 XB12XT CEL steady at light throttle 3400-3900 RPM no codes

    If you don't have a stock saddle, make sure to check its not rubbing on your ecm and battery connections. It was with mine and the CEL bugged me for weeks when I was doing highway speeds. Would come on at aprox 3500rpm and out if I stopped or the rpm went back to idle. Now I put some spacers on...

    This is my '06 X, 47k kilometers, corbins saddle, race ecm, race exhaust, k&n filter, breather reroute, air filter cover mod. Partialy headers covered with tape mainly to keep the heat off. Underside of saddle taped with heat deflecting tape. Not on picture: Madstad windscreen system and Metzler...

    Did a 400km trip today with a lot of highway and the CEL never came on. Bike was running like a dream.[up]

    Update! It was the Corbin saddle rubbing on the battery and probably on the ecm aswell. Lifted the saddle a little with some extra spacers on the studs of the saddle and voila.... problem solved. :D
