    Ecmspy question: disabling O2 sensor

    I think I am going to go the route we did on our 990 Superdukes and just turn the O2 sensor off. Worked darn well on the superdukes and they came from factory with an O2 for each cylinder. We used them to find our tune then turned the darn things off so they would not try to correct our maps...

    First ride since mods but prolly last ride for the year :)

    Was warm enough round noon today for me drag the Buell out. Was the first time out since Lowered Pegs, New Set of Dunlop Q2s, New Jadine RT1 Slip on. Some Observations... When taking seat off bike to charge battery dead from sitting noticed seat keeper for the tab cracked on one side...

    TPS reset! Make double sure throttle body is 100% closed!!!!! Check for air leak / vacuum leak around throttle bodies.

    I did not want to cut the old bracket. I may want to put a stock muffler back on some day. The oil lines were put back on the same way they came off but the small line is close the the hanger tab for the Jardine.

    On the superdukes we were disabling the o2 sensors and only using pressure sensors. You can do the same with the Buell ecm I believe.

    They are mounting it under the seat. I guess you could mount it anywhere within reasonable vacuum line length.
