    Some perspective...

    I paid $8000 CDN last summer for a brand new 2010 XB9SX at the dealer. I guess after HD dropped them, they cut the prices. I was pretty happy.

    Right on. It's easy to drop the exhaust off the bike? I plan on going to an after market exhaust next year once the warranty is done with.

    Here are some pics... Salt seems pretty weak to me... I don't ride it in the snow FFS. Lol. From the pics to me it looks like an issue with the metal. If it was due to salt I would think it would be a more random thing... This seems to be in sections.

    Ontario, Canada... My bike lives outside, but always has a cover on it. Was kept in a heated garage over the winter.

    Hey guys I have a 2010 XB9SX, and just yesterday rolled over 5000km on it. The factory exhaust is rusting to hell! Up at the front around where the headers join, and all around it at the back it's rusting really bad. Is this normal?

    Out of hibernation

    Still don't have mine out yet. :( Too cold, and the roads are still shit. Dirt and crap all over them still. I'm NW of Ottawa by a few hours if anyone is wondering.... Sucks :( I pulled my 97 Maurader out though. Might take that out soon though... Don't care if it gets dirty. But I won't...

    Brake and Clutch Lever Bolts

    I wasn't that lucky.... Nowhere in Canada had them, and places from the states wanted like 20$ shipping. I ended up getting mine from the local HD dealership. Super cheap. Good to go.

    Belt gaurds on or off?

    I tried to take mine off, and stripped one of the torx screws... *explained in another thread* Untill I get a solution to getting it out, I'll be rolling with them on. But I want them OFF!

    Yea, I must have used the wrong bit... Either way, I don't know how to get it out now... It's right pooched! Might have to ask the neighbour to weld a nut onto it or something, as long as it doesn't mess up anything.

    I tried, and the bit snapped off in the screw. I went at it w/ a dremel, and got the bit out, and tried cutting a slot into it for a flat head screw driver, and just continued to strip...

Only place I found online that had em had a minimum order price, and they had nothing else for me to buy... Took the back brackets off for the passenger pegs... Put the short bolt...
