    Bike feels like it wants to turn as I ride

    I am with NSEGE on bad head bearings. 2nd would be wheel bearings on the way out? Worse yet the bike was "wadded up" before you got it.......

    Is this eminent crank failure?

    Run the front tire up against a wall. Run up the revs a little and slowly let out the clutch just enough to put some load on the motor, if it's the bottom end you will hear it...common with motors that have been over reved.
