New to forums, X1W owner.
Welcome Mike. You don't have to flex your header at all to remove it. I would recommend protecting your frame and header alike with masking tape prior to removal and install. Remove your o2 sensor first. You don't have to but ya get a bit more clearance. X1w... Tank fillers grey or leave em...- NwRider

Weird pinging sound drivin me nutz!
Got my pipe apart... nothing broken... core just slides freely enough to make an annoying noise. Kinda sucks to pull it apart when the packing is 97% there! A few people have told me they packed with steel wool. Think I might give that a go and figure out a way to keep that core from sliding...- NwRider

DIY seat cowl
Nice blaze! Can't wait to see it finished. To my seat cowl or bike Gax? Unfortunately I cracked the edges sanding off the primer my painter said was garbage. Repaired reinforced and glasses in a mount. Been side tracked repairing my exhaust. Finish soon I hope.- NwRider

Well I Tried
3m fineline tape would not have bled. Try that stuff next time around. It's specifically made for automotive paint for graphics, two-tones and what not. It's blue, vinyl 1/4". Try going lighter on the paint as well... You got way too much material on there.- NwRider

And for my 1000th post...
I accidentally cracked it when sanding off the primer my painter told me was shite. It needed more smoothing out anyway. Luckily fiberglass is easy to repair. I reinforced it and glassed in a mount tab while I was at it. So.. sooooon it will have paint. I will have my hover mod completed by my... -
