    Yea I guess I just checked the main fuses. Looks like I'll have to do a little more work than I originally though. Tomorrow I'll take a look at the pump and see whats up. Thanks for the help, will report back with any issues.

    Ok well I dont exactly have a stand and am not mechanically inclined enough to take the swingarm off. But I am able to get the fuel pump out apparently. What should I be looking for when I take it out?

    Yea I had actually taken out the fuel pump slightly before gas started coming out and quickly put it back in (didn't know what that part was until now).     Where, and how do I get to the harness? is it underneath the airbox itself? Because I'm not sure how to detach that from the rest of the bike. I checked fuses, and relays and it wasnt that so I'll look into what you're talking about.

    I'll have to take a look. I am unsure how to separate the piece in the middle of the air filter area from the rest of the bike. How do I detach it so I can get the air box completely off?

    its a 2003. No history of any sort of problem like this before. One day its fine, the next its acting up. The low fuel light didn't seem to be acting odd at all before.
