    Are you talking about that taper going up into the lower triple trees? That's normal. The other side should be like that. The fork tube looks a little scraped for some reason.

    Rear wheel kicks out

    I just figured when mine does that when I don't rev match it. It doesn't lock up. It just starts spinning faster as if I was doing a burn out. Cause the revs are higher than my speed. So the tire spins faster than I'm moving. It happens it me too. I've also got an 03. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Yeah. They have red loctite on them. I jest took mine to a shop to get it taken off for pwder coat. I stripped the torx drive also. I don't know how they did it. But they did. And they didn't strip the head of the bolt either.

    Ok. I got the oem fitting. It looks exactly the same as the others. Made by the exact same people that make the others. Eaton. But this one is silver. I'm assuming some type of plating. But I am currently putting it on. Just an update. I'll update with results when finished

    Tail question

    No. It's satin black. Prep is everything. I sanded it real good. Cleaned it with rubbing alcohol. Sprayed 3 coats of self etching primer. The 4 coats of paint. Light sanding inbetween to get the fuzz and dust off. I did it in my garage.
