    What tools to carry on roadtrip?

    I carry the buell tool pouch and I've got some needle nose pliers and a 6 inch adjustable wrench. I don't know how you guys are carrying all these tools under the seat. The stuff I carry just barely fits. I have to force the seat down.

    I ordered a new fitting today. So it should be here about Wednesday. I forgot to go by the auto store. I'll go tomorrow to see if they have that sealant. Hopefully this works. I'll post up my results when I install everything. Thanks guys for the help!

    Ok. I'm just gonna go and order one from the local dealer. And replace it again. Just to make sure it's all the same and will work. I replaced the line because the nut was rounded and couldn't get a grip on it with the wrench. What's hylomar?

    Yeah I still used my cables. And from what I see. It's all about how you want the bars. I put mine more downward. So I had to drill holes. But it looks like depending on how you put the bars you won't have too. Also I changed my suspension to a firebolt suspension. Since there is now more weight...

    Oil line help

    The oil is coming from where the line threads into the fitting. And no it tightened down fine. It didn't bind up any. It's been leaking for about 2 years on and off. I've been doing nothing but temporarily fix it. Nothing I have tried has been permanent.

    You can see the oil on the bottom part of the threads. It's going to the front of the case. Just forward of the oil filter. The headers are on the right of the fitting.

    The leak isn't at the cooler. It's at the case side. Where the filter is. Right below the oil pressure sensor. The case threads aren't leaking. The oil line threads are. And the lines are oem updated lines. They aren't custom aftermarket

    I don't know how to find that angle. It's a brass-tite 90* fitting the number is 43036. I can't find the flare degree online

    Ok so I've had an ever occurring oil leak. It's the oil return line from the cooler. It's leaking at the brass fitting going to the line. I've put permatex number 2 on it. Which is a non hardening sealant. I've put that on the flare, the back of the flare, and the threads. It's still leaking. Is...

    The grips are driven d3's they are nice. And the end is 7/8. But there is a sleeve about a half inch down on the inside that restricts a bar end from going in there

    I rolled mine more forward. So it's not straight out. I'll take better pictures tonight when I get off work. But it's a lot more aggressive. I feel much more confident in the turns.
