    Changing my oil last night and pulled the primary plug, and quite a bit of metal flakes had accumulated..now i realize flakes are never good but should i be getting my chain checked out or is this more common in buells

    Anyone change their own fork oil before? it says in the maintenance book to change it at 10K and im about there...it looks kinda complicated and im guessing its one of those things that if you need to ask you shouldnt do it

    yeah i just took back my royal purple cuz i found amsoil at $10.40-qt...i run amsoil now and dont have a problem with it so for $20 less im sticking with it

    mine's making the same chirping sound...i thought it was the primary chain also so i tightened that..it seemed to fix it for a little while but now its back again...maybe ill take a look at the idler pully tonight

    wow those pictures look rough...but i feel ya..shattered my wrist last summer...13 screws and a plate later and i only have 50% mobility in it..but you know what your still alive and capable of typing to us..whatever handicap comes from your injury you'll get used to it and be back to everyday...
