    XB12SS Update

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have been digging #1 and #2 a lot recently. The tail will be painted all black with no decals on it and the frame will be repainted as well and I'll put some frame pucks on. I was planning to modify the belt guards by opening them up with either a dremel or...

    XB12SS Update

Thanks for the support guys. I am currently doing some trials on photoshop to see what kind of decals i can put on there. k5o2b3y its a xb12r Fiirebolt tail. Previous owner wrecked the bike and supplied a firebolt tail for me instead of a lightning tail.

Here was my fall/winter project. Its a 87 Bmw 325i. I could list what I have done to it but I dont have the time to write a novel. Car had alot of broken, missing and rusted parts which just about all of them have been replaced now. Car has been lowered with new wheels, suspension, seats, audio...

    New Buell Owner-hit a roadblock

I had another idea for avoiding all of the frustration which is to get an aftermarket speedometer that you can program with mileage or put an analog one from a used bike and hope that the inspector doesnt know what buell bikes are and how their speedometers look. I am getting desperate here...

    New Buell Owner-hit a roadblock

I called the dmv today and the person on the phone told me that CA dmv's verify the vin# and mileage between the title and the bike so I do have to bring it in for verification. Looks like my only options are to find/buy a speedometer with the minimum required miles or find out how to change my...

    New Buell Owner-hit a roadblock

Hello, I purchased a 07 xb12ss about 2 months ago that was in pieces due to a lay down. The bike was from Idaho with 753 not actual miles. I finally have the bike all back together and found out that the bike IS NOT a 50 state bike which means that registering it in California will be a major...

    Fuel Pump Priming-Please help.

So i finally got the bike running good. All it needed after finding the bad ground was to prime the pump a bit and a tps reset. Since the ecm came off of another bike, it was calibrated for this one. All thats left is to fix the minor scrapes, paint and put it back together.

    Fuel Pump Priming-Please help.

Ok so i recently bought a 07 xb12ss with 735 miles that had been laid down and the owner couldnt get it to run right but started doing a firebolt tail swap. I bought the bike and started doing some trouble shooting after lots of research and a long response that Rays had to another member on his...

i have the tail. i would be interested in getting a full wiring harness, looks like mine has been spliced with. So i checked the plugs today and they were completely black. The other issue now is that the bike no longer starts. It started at the previous owners house but not anymore. I watched...

Thanks for the quick reply!! -The wiring wasnt damaged, just all unplugged during his swap. The ecm had the harness ripped out so he put a new ecm on. -Good to know that i can just get rid of it. does that mean I can get rid of the mangled cable for the exhaust valve? or is it worth it to pull...

I am finally back on this forum with a buell. Last one was a m2 cyclone that didnt stay with me very long. I just picked up a 07 buell xb12ss long. 735 original miles but that is only because it was laid down a few years ago and stood around unfinished. I picked it up and I am hoping with so...

It starts up but isnt running properly. The previous owner started doing a firebolt swap but never finished so my issue could also be in...

proud new m2 owner that needs help

I did modify the windscreen to drop down over the headlight at a point. I looked into changing the headlight but I liked this option more and it only cost me a little bit of time.
