turning and scg into sx height questions

This is true. The ScG forks are 21mm thick and all others are 23mm thick. You will need a new set of triple clamps. I don't know about the steering stops. I have an Ss myself and It fits me fine, I'm 6'. I would probably prefer to have a S though as I like to be slightly more scrunched on the...

turning and scg into sx height questions

I believe the forks, rear shock, and seat were the only different things on the Scg. The tail section you have should be fine.

Chrome couches with 2 wheels , makes me laugh !

On the contrary. I wave to every rider whether they be on mopeds, sportbikes, or Harleys. I've had mopeds wave (or not because they are white knuckle riding), I've had sportbikes wave, I've had Harleys wave. Out of the three, the only style of bike that I've had people flip me the bird instead...

    Buell cr vs. Duck sf

I believe one of the motorcycle mags did a review that included both of these bikes. I think the Ducati won performance-wise, but a lot of the reviewers really liked the Buell and felt you couldn't beat the price.

I Shooke ERIC BUELL'S HAND today here is the proof

50dro, I live in Blawnox, about a 20-25 minute drive to Gibsonia, and I work in Bakerstown, about a 20 minute drive to Cranberry.

I Shooke ERIC BUELL'S HAND today here is the proof

You know I didn't realize Erik was from Gibsonia, PA. That's like a 15-20 minute ride from me and it makes me all the more proud to won one of his bikes. Congrats! I hope I have that opportunity someday.

Not going down without a fight.

Gotta wonder where the engine for the XB's will come from if the deal goes through. I'm not sure I like the idea of Harley selling Buell to Walworth and them selling them the engines for the bikes after the fact. Sound like quick easy money to Harley to me and it doesn't seem like they worked...

    Well it got Stolen(Fresno, CA)

Sorry to hear that man. It sucks coming out and finding a ride missing. Was this at home or at some store?

    Short tail and rain

Heh. I get a nice stripe up my back and whether it's wet or not I often get hit with gravel/pebbles in the helmet and back. Not hard but enough to know that it's happening. Usually end up clearing some stones out from under that grab strap on my Ss.

    Rear Braking

Yea. If you need to stop that fast you're usually up on your front wheel anyways. The one time I really got on the rears for an emergency stop I ended up drifting around a SUV's back end. The bastard pulled out in front of me and if I didn't lock up that rear and slide around him I doubt I'd...

    Intake Vortex

I did nearly the same thing except I used a piece of 1/4" plexiglass and instead of drilling new holes through the lower airbox I ran bolts with washers through the tubing holes next to the air sensor. Works great! It is a good bit louder than stock. You can hear a bit of engine noise coming up...

    Plug change and it's ALIVE!!!

Heh. Not sure I like the idea of drilling a hole through my frame. :p

Cranks Over, Starts, Idles for a second and says "Nope, not today"

I'm having the same problem with mine. I'm thinking it could be a combined problem of running to rich timing is off and the sudden weather change in my area. Hopefully I can get it figured out. I wanna get my tuning done before Winter sets in. I already did a TPS reset with no dice. Gonna...

    Anodizing?

You could give Hard Anodizing a try. Hard Anodizing - Anodizing that requires a high current density and low-temperature electrolytes. Hard anodizing results in coatings that are resistant to corrosion, abrasion, and erosion. It's supposed to be more resistant than some painted finishes and...

    Noob Question of the Day...

I've done the, "Ohh, these people are waving at me, that's cool. I'll wave back." Then it turns out my kickstand was down and I feel like an idiot.

    Safety Recall on 09 XB12SS

Sorry. I was looking at the thread title and didn't realize the recall affected the other models as well.

    Safety Recall on 09 XB12SS

Did you put on a S back end? I've never seen a seat like that for the Ss. I like it though.

    Finally, a Legitimate Bueller

Grats on the bike. Yes, the battery strap sucks, especially when it's cold outside. I found using a screwdriver can help but the best bet is to try and hook one side of the long D-ring and then try to work the other side onto the hook after that.

DIY primary gearing swap (step by step with pics)

Nice. I might really have to give this a try.
