    the big topic: tires

    :D still have the original Pirelli Diablo DOT 2906 on my 07 XB12R... Buell was not used for Years and y bought it with 1600km...now 4000km... Tires are still good and have a good grip when warm.. i will go for the Dunlop Q2 because of better price. Pirellis are very expensive here!!

    Buell front wheel bearing replacement, with pics

    :D its maybe because the Bearings are outside of the rimm and more exposed to water, dust etc. Japanese Bikes have them more inside and most of them using a extra Dust seal to protect Bearing..

    :D just have seen that Tire cleaning video...makes me :D:D why doing this when Tire-Wheel is on the bike??? much easier doing it when tire not on the rimm.....[smirk]

    changed bearings yesterday...no big deal old ones came out easy and the newones got in with no problems...had the bearings in the freezer for 30 min... old ones have some rust and if you can see one has more grease then the other..but exactly this one wont turn freely... new pt no. SKF 6005 2RSH

    got set of new front wheel bearings and installed them... it was nescessary because the originals are very rusty and one was making some noise.. [up]
