    [up] Check your air filter. It may be a long shot, but if it pushed anything from the breather in any amount, it could have soaked the filter. That will make it rich. I'm 99.9% sure you didn't hurt the engine.

    Exactly....and there it is. They have the torque of a wound-up rubber band, so they need the gear ratios super close. Oh well.....I've seen MUCH more stupid than this?! :)

    Yeah.....IDK if they're different or not. I flat hammered this thing for almost 40K miles. I believe it was an 'age' thing more than anything else. If I was up at 150 + HP, maybe I'd be more concerned. I will keep my belt and if I still have the thing 6-8 years from now, I will slide a new one...

    WHAT you are trying to accomplish would be a good starting point. More bottom end, more power up top, pump gas or race gas, daily ride or track bike....Build the engine to do what you want it to do....the rest falls into place. You are NOT the first guy to build one of these. Look into Hammer...
