    I think the biggset mistake was not creating a shorter tail for the SX, like they did with the Lightnings. I love the shorter tails.

    ^^ BAM like we said, take it for a ride and quick doing unnecessary 10 min warm ups! Ride your bike and quit taking smoke breaks on a new motor that has bigger pistons and more surface area....

    These guys are correct. My bike gets hotter and hotter when idling. Get the air moving through that oil cooler and see how it cools things down. You need air passing the cylinder fins too. I never let my bike idle more than a few minutes. You just foul plugs anyways. Take it for a ride and see...

    Will EBR make an air-cooled?

    Erik Buell RACING, they are really trying to focus on performance now and power is very limited on the air-cooled motors so i doubt they will go back to old school performance. That being said, I WISH!! I love my XB

    tank and air box grip pads

    I really like them. I have the set of 4 pads and i think they look good if you put them on evenly. Also its nice to know that powdercoat on the frame and airbox cover wont fade/scratch from legs moving on them. Best picture i have of them on my bike VVV

    2009 SS tail swap

    So I've never seen anyone put the R tail on the long (SS) frame but I know that nitto12ss, did an amazing job fabricating the S tail onto his SS frame. The S and R tails have identical mounting points. But im assuming you would need to trim up the under tray to clean the shock and the fairing...
