    if the threads are trashed you can get some helicoils. just have to drill out larger, tap that and the internal threads are what u need. had to do it on an aluminum robot arm that had stainless screws. at work

    i got a suzuki rear stand from a guy and modded it to work. on the front will a triple tree stand work with the uly style fender or do i need to get one that picks up from the bottom of the fork tubes? thanks

    '96 Buell S1 Tank Lettering

    i had 3 s1's they all did it, best thing i did was to go with the raised decals. i repainted one cleared then put the thin ones on and they bubbled. i always wondered if tank liner would work on these tanks or if it would eat the plastic

    a friend of mine has one with several miles on it. the tone has become more hollow over the years. are these made to be repacked? i looked at the underside and saw a rivited plate, not sure if it is for access or just a race use only warning that is stamped on it. thanks

    if you mean the bolts that hold them on i think they are 5/16 x 18 x 1" long socket head cap screw
