    XB12X fuel pump failure

    Mine is also an 09 and mine also failed at 8,500 miles. Its been at Lakeland FL harley since Monday. Its ten to 15 days just to get the pump, but they are dropping the engine to replace both the cover gaskets anyway. Thankfully all under warranty. Jim

    It was the fuel pump. Its being replaced under warranty along with both rocker cover gaskets. Glad its still under warranty. Jim

    Blown fuel pump fuse

    It was close to a full tank so I doubt it was fuel level. how do you know if its the wires, you have to drop the pump right? Is there a recall number for it? Jim

    My Buell blew the fuel pump fuse for whatever reason the other day. I put the spare 10 amp one in and it seems fine. Has anyone had this happen, and did you find a cause? I hope it not the fuel pump going tits-up. Jim
