05 XB9SX misfire when warm, only over 3k rpm.

When/if you get your cable it will be evident. Mine used to have surging at 3k-4.5k. I've changed a lot in my fueling and it pretty much completely gone. The reason why different fixes work for different people is because every bike is not made the same and driven in the same environment. One...

Fuel controllers [down][down] Best solution is to use ecmspy push a race map onto your ecm.

    Irratic Idle

TPS reset is where I would start. Then set your idle speed to ~1k.

Anyone do highway riding on an XBS with a windscreen?

Did 500+ miles in one day on my xb9 without any problems. Ear plugs, cramp buster, under armour, and a comfy seat are all I had and really wasn't uncomfortable. YMMV

    ecm fix

TPS reset, primary adjustment, and breather reroute are good starters

Question about the BUELL Race ECM.

Do you have the EBR race ecm or the Buell race ecm? If you want more power you will have to buy twin wideband sensors and tune each cylinder separately. With that being said it will only make your bike run better. For max power you will have to pay for dyno time where they have a gas analyzer as...

    To much air??

It moves the whole fuel curve. Not all buells run rich from the factory. My 06 xb9 needed more fuel in a few areas to run stoich. With that being said it did need fuel taken away in a few places as well. That was with EVERYTHING being stock all the way down to the warning stickers. I tested...

    tps question

@ J disputed Did you change your row and column headers? They are different between the race and stock fuel maps. You also need to copy over the timing maps for it to run correctly. When you do a tps reset you do want to slightly twist the throttle closed. I'm not saying to crank down on...

    tps question

If you are only burning the maps then no you don't have to reset the TPS. It won't hurt to reset it...but it doesn't have to be done. I would suggest resetting it if you plan on doing any mapping work to your bike. Only burn the maps not the eeprom. Make sure and save your original eeprom so you...

    Fuel Maps

    1. Start with with race map 2. DO NOT burn the eeprom to your ecm. It won't work and could brick your ecm 3. The race map does lean up in a few areas...but nothing that will hurt your motor. Just do some logging and get it set to YOUR bike.
