The HEAT, man--THE HEAT!!
...so I'm grooving around on my City-X today in the D & I notice at every traffic stop (& in between, to be perfectly honest) that my inner-thigh hairs are being singed off (especially on the RIGHT near the pipes, but the left is no ice-box). YIKES! So I tried to spread 'em but wound up looking...- Fin

Hey, thanks for replies, everyone. [up] Dogwood, I rode a Bandit for years & never heard the sound till now. Hmmmm. But like ChrisPudd, JG, & Flaya say above, it must be endemic to these Buells. As long as it doesn't kill my bike! I'll check out StevenC's diagnostic--thanks man. :D- Fin

Funky brake sound (??)
Hey all! Man, haven't been behind the wheel of my car in over a week. I love summer. ;) So I've been hearing this sound from the front wheel of my 09 xb9sx while riding--every time. Hard to describe it as anything other than that "click" sprinkler all our parents had when we were kids...- Fin

Hey guys! I realize that a healthy respect for danger/obstacles/cagers is important when riding. But since I bought my City-X, if I see a patch of gravel in my intended turn (standard 90-degree suburban street turn), I have a higher-than-average concern of dumping in a low-side skid. This... -

Clutch throw length--adjustment?
Thanks Bossanova! Does that adjustment decrease shift-lever travel-length, or just increase/decrease shifter "dead-play" (loose wiggle amount)?- Fin

Clutch throw length--adjustment?
Hey all! Is there a DIY on how to adjust the length of the clutch-lever squeeze on the stock set-up? My lever seems to have to travel pretty darn far to engage. I'd rather squeeze less & shift more. :) Thanks in advance! PS--I did check the threads but didn't find anything--I do appreciate...- Fin
