    "Collapsed Lifter" -Harley Dealer

Buy a Blast for $1500 and ride that while you fix your XB at home maybe? $1500 is almost enough to buy a used engine that runs fine. How many hours does the dealership book out for this job?

    HELP !!!

I think you may be lugging the motor when you drive it sometimes. This will cause the light to go on and off in the same journey over and over. If you're driving in too high of a gear and too low of RPMs, you're lugging. Our XBs do not like this at all. When the light comes on, try to...

    ohlins forks for buell?

Those forks are pure sex but they would double the value of my bike. I think for the average street riders, our Showa suspension is more than we need and we're lucky to have the level of adjustment that we do. Still though.... Ohlins parts make my pants tight.

Thanks a lot Lion. Watching commuting videos is like virtual tourism for me, so I appreciate when I get a chance to eyeball someone elses neightborhood. I will have to visit SA one of these days. It's on a long list of travel destinations.

    Airbox mystery: newbie help pls!

The japanese market bikes have a different exhaust too from what I can see. It looks like the outlet pipe is longer by a lot. Unknown if there are additional differences. I seriously had no idea that there was a difference in the intake side too.

Hey crew chief, get better soon man. You're not having fun until you're visiting the physical terrorist three times a week just trying to get a limb to bend again. You'll be ok, so let's try to get you bike back up and running. Theres a few of us Buellers here at Beale AFB who might have...

Yep half inch electric impact is the way to go. I don't have one. I'll borrow one tomorrow. I'm tired boss. Dog tired.

Working on a friends softail, and I have a question.

The sprocket shaft nut is under what I'm trying to remove right? I'm trying to remove the giant engine compensating unit that's thirty something millimeters. Everybody that I speak to is in agreement that it's left hand thread. As hard as it's been to remove, I'm prone to second guessing myself.

    Check out this buell custom

It's not my bag of cats but it's well executed and very cleanly designed. I like that it has real forks instead of something silly and ancient.

Working on a friends softail, and I have a question.

squidbilly I used a polypropylene block first to try wedging it and the clutch shell moved anyway and milled a groove in the block. I need a very positive lock or I'm going to overpower it every time. I realllly don't want to dick up the teeth on these sprockets either. Thx for the tip man.
