    Red Loctite on Caliper Fasteners

If you apply the loc-tite correctly, you should only need a bit more torque to remove it. You don't really need to superglue the bolt into the bike, you just need to make sure that vibration won't back it out. Did you have to take off your forks or something?

    Need to rebuild my motor

I hope everything goes right and you get your bike back soon. Being without the buell sucks no matter how long it is. Good luck dude.

Plasti Dip How To!!! Sort of....

Looks good man! I'll be doing my whole bike in PD. dipyourcar dot com is the place to find the thinned out stuff that sprays right. Unless you thin your own. Good job dude.

    Pinging at 4000 rpm

I'm glad to hear that your bike is happy again. Pinging is scary stuff sometimes. That's how my bike runs when I'm driving it hard (low 40's). I normally get low fifties MPG. Does this mean that something is wrong with my STT?

    New bike transportation!!

Well now I just feel like a sucker using a pickup truck. I must admit that I have taken a tape measure out to the wifes BMW X5 to see how much of the XB would fit in it.

I installed an exhaust cutout on my XB12STT.

Thanks guys. I reeeeeeaallly want you guys to hear the sound of the internal valve opening after about five grand. It makes my giblets tingle.

I installed an exhaust cutout on my XB12STT.

Here's a video with a couple fly bys. The cameras sound equipment is for poop so you can't really get an idea of how full and deep it sounds. I'm going to get a better video soon. Turn it up during the open valve pass. KSy0fKQuCyQ

I installed an exhaust cutout on my XB12STT.

Thanks man. Yeah the chin fairing fits perfectly. That was one of my design requirements. The switch is still just hanging out in it's position with no mount between the fly screen and the instruments. I'm still looking for something nice to mount it with. The sound of this thing at full...

I installed an exhaust cutout on my XB12STT.

Here is a poopish quality cellphone video of it idling. I'll shoot a video with the camera tomorrow when it's all charged up. I did this video right after I woke up which explains why I sound like I'm on elephant tranquilizers. sjK0e36TFlU

I installed an exhaust cutout on my XB12STT.

I wanted to keep the stock sound levels on my XB but I also had reasons to want some decibels every now and then. The idea of making a really cool exhaust system appealed to me. The problem is that I come and go in the wee hours and my neighbors don’t deserve to lose sleep over my need to...

    cooling fan

Winner winner chicken dinner. Carlos wins the cigar. The damn thing blew the fuse in my meter so it was in excess of 20A. I should have done the math first and saved myself some time. New fan is on the way from Surdyke unless someone can point me to a lower priced alternative. I'll replace...
