    Whats this noise?

    It was Mobile1 motorcycle oil!!! Its not that hard to believe that it didnt work that well for me. Im not new to motorcycles or Buells. This is my third Buell. I never had an issue with the others. No big deal. I switched to a non synthetic MOTORCYCLE oil and I now have NO problems.

    Whats this noise?

    Ok, I changed my oil tonight with Valvoline 20-50 motorcycle oil( non synthetic) and yes the knocking or tapping IS gone. Rode for about a half hour and still quiet!!!! I can't explain it and I know some will try to find some excuse but it seemed to work for me.

    I have noticed after my recent oil change with Mobile 1 20-50 full syn my engine noise is a lot more noticable. A tapping or knocking noise from the rockers or lifters. Should I use a standard 20-50?

    I have a 04 xb12r with 7K miles and it started making a noise which sounds like its in the front rocker box. Kinda like a lifter tapping or something. Sorta a knocking sound. Fresh oil change with Mobile1 20-50 V-twin oil. HELP!!!

    I noticed before a little surge or a miss or whatever you would call it when I was cruising thru town but I just didn't think of the wires. The guy I bought it from just a few weeks back said he had put plugs in her and fluid change. So I just ASSumed they were ok....lol

    So went out to check the plug wires to see if the were on all the way and damn....the rear plug wire wasn't on all the way....front is fine ..... its raining now so can't take it out but I hope that was her problem

    I'm not sure about ztied's bike but mine only did it in the rain. Was out for a moring ride this morning and she ran awesome.... I have race ecm, pipe, airbox delete, breather reroute. She was running great this morning....good ride:D
