    Sounds like the Hiccup these bikes like to do at low throttle positions and low rpm. Mine does this a little when its cold but when it warms up its gone. I think it has to do with the fuel map when the bike switches from open to closed loop. I'm no ecm wizard so can't really help you on that.

    Very hard to tell without more info. Could be as simple as a fouled plug, to leaking intake manifold gaskets, or even a tps reset. But with "does not run well" just not enough info. I would ask them to bring it in to be checked out before buying it if you or a friend can not diagnose it...

    Glad you are alright! Do you think the fall could have been avoided by not hitting the brakes? Sounds like a mashed front brake on leaves which is an instant oh shat. I probably would have just kept a steady throttle or powered through.

    I was more refering to the broken belts and then the conversion after you are sick of replacing belts. You never know though, you might get lucky.
