    Install - NHRS 1050cc Big Bore Kit

    theMelvster6, what was deciding factor to do head work first instead of the 1050 kit? I too plan to do both and was wondering which to do first. I might need to replace my rear head due to broken threads for the center tie bar, so I might be forced to do that one first.

    DSchmidt54, any update on your 1050 kit? I've found that I have a rear cylinder base gasket leak and that I may need to replace my cylinders so I've considered the 1050 kit. I'd love to see a write-up somewhere on the process and experience/tools needed. Thanks, and good luck!

    I bought an 03 XB9S last year and one of the first issues I had was the ferrule broke on my clutch also in this post. I was able to get it out the same way you did. Enjoy the bike and welcome to the forum. :)
