How to Make stock Body work Shine after Sanding

Tried my hand at Novus again this morning with my cowl. Got the scuffs out...but it doesn't have that luster. I then hit it with Turtle Wax ICE. But you can still see where I Novus'd it if you know what your looking for.

How to Make stock Body work Shine after Sanding

I had/have a scratch on my seat cowl from my boots when I get on and off. I kicked it once and scratched it. I used the Novus but it doesn't have that shine to it anymore. The cowl is a bit duller than the rest of the bike.

    Carlisle Bike Fest

As I said in the Harrisburg thread....I've got about 10 guys coming from all over the East Coast for that weekend. We'll be riding all weekend (only 1 other than me will be on a Buell). I'd love to meet up with you guys. Either before or at the show, or anytime that weekend for a ride...

    HD at it again

In the case of the York PA plant, our Governor also threw millions of dollars at HD as incentive to keep them here...in addition to the shit contract the workers had to sign.

    Buells and tattoos.

Here's my current work-in-progress. The sun was my first tattoo 10 years ago...the beach scene represents where my wife and I were married. Still need the inside done and the back side toward the top of my shoulder. Art done by my cousin Ron Shearer at Tailored Tattoo in Bridgewater VA.

    Almost lost my shift lever!

There's a rubber bushing that sits inside the lever then a metal cylinder looking piece that goes inside of that. Most likely the rubber didn't fall out. The metal piece would come out fairly easily...especially if you lost the bolt.

    Almost lost my shift lever!

I've had this exact problem. Did you find the metal bushing that goes inside the shift lever? Thats important. Make sure all the old loc-tite is cleaned out off of the bolt, the bushing, etc. That will cause it to bind up.
