Yeah, I'm in that group. I think a lot of those guys are near Indy (3 hrs from me) or in southern IN.

Both of the above are well stated points that are rooted in both truth and logic.

I live in Indiana and I ride a Firebolt

There's tons of DUI scooter riders here in the meth capital of the world, they trick me into waving sometimes!

I live in Indiana and I ride a Firebolt

Can anybody help me out with an explanation on why there's so much (for lack of a better word) hate between riders on different types of bikes? Seems to really only be perpetuated by sport bike guys and Harley guys. Guys on other brands of cruisers and sport touring bikes generally wave at...

I'm in Elkhart. Every time I go thru Kokomo I grab White Castle and usually see quite a few bikes around.

Those are Knight Design drop pegs. I like them for the single fact that my legs aren't bent up as much. My bike had Uly pegs on it when I got it, but they still were less than ideal for comfort. These KD pegs are an inch lower and really do make a difference. If I were a total badass who...

XB12R as my first real bike

This is what I rode home 2.5 hrs in the rain last fall: 2009 Firebolt XB12R with just under 7k miles, owned by a former Buell mechanic. Sold to me because he liked my enthusiasm and appreciation for things that are a bit different from the norm. Plus I had cash. I'm sure that helped haha. This...

Right on. We don't get edited on this forum? I can tell those motherfuckers to eat a dick and it won't get censored?

Last weekends I rode past a group of 4 banger pilots at 5mph in a parking lot and waved, they stood there with crossed arms and didn't acknowledge my efforts. What's up with riders not returning the wave? I'm new to two wheels with an engine between them but I understand common courtesy.

Nah, we usually mix up some Evan Williams at my place. Def not big spender status. When I get in a mood I spring for Tap 357, that $hit is delicious. Buffalo Trace is my pick for straight no chaser, but when you mix it up it doesn't really matter as much.

Yeah, that's what gets their attention. I think the sport bike crowd looks at it like it's a Harley and thus assumes it's not quick.

I live in Indiana and I ride a Firebolt

What's up everybody? I've been lurking for about a year and finally decided to register after the recent update to the forums. I ride an '09 Firebolt that I picked up from a former Buell mechanic. He's an older gentleman who bought a few bikes at the fire sale, who favored his Uly over his...
