    Battery died. Anyone using Lithium?

    I switched to lithium 3 years ago on my xb12x. + Lightweigt, starts the bike easily*, compact, no trickle charging req if -terminal is disconnected over winter. - difficult to start bike if below 5 degress celsius*, if an electrical problem occurs and drains the battery completely and kill it.

    I had the same problem. Drilled them out and re-threaded then to M6. Got some black headed m6 button head torx bolts and some black plastic washer. Much better and easier to remove, which is good considering that since then have had to remove the instrument cluster twice, fix wiring problems...

    Well i guess i keep good company! The issue is not yet resolved more than that a visual check revealed that one of the bolts on the primary cover is loose. So i will gee my tools this evening tighten up the bolt, readjust the clutch and perform a visual to see if the clutch is actuating...

    Last year: fitted muller clutch, changed the primary adjuster shoe. Last week, adjusted primary chain, throttle cables, tps reset, new tires, changed oil, engine 20w50 and primary to formula plus. Rode it this weekend and all was fine
