Alto Carbonite clutch installation (springs Yes/No)

So called them 3 days ago, Roy wasn't in and Robby wasn't 100% sure, so gave them another call yesterday and asked for Roy. He told me to reuse the 2 "rings". Yes it's friction plates but also clutch plates. And the kit fits other HD models. So it's possible to not use the whole pack. Quite...

Alto Carbonite clutch installation (springs Yes/No)

Thanks for the good write-up! I'll have a call, and see what they come up with. Didn't expect no experience with this clutch on this forum. They apparently are the best that you can get for the beasts. Maybe it's an idea from me to do a little review after a while. Thanks guys, and ofcourse...

Alto Carbonite clutch installation (springs Yes/No)

I contacted them, never replied. It's a high performance clutch kit that replaces the stock clutch "steel" plates by ones of their own. These have extra friction on to them + the usual friction plates.

Buell XB and 1125 Quickshifter install. CHEAP and EASY!

I'm sorry for re-opening an old thread, don't know the rules about that. But will it harm you engine if you only cut of spark and not spark and fuel? Because it has a bit more fuel to ignite at once from the cycle it cut off. Seems like a silly question because the whole point of a combustion...

Yes, that wasn't the tool I meant LOL.. Halfway down the page there is a how to. Which is exactly the youtube movie you showed in your reply. Well that is the one I mean. Is there any more hardware required for the job, because I don't think I can find the thread you guys use in America. Here in...

    Front suspension upgrade XB12SS 2009

I agree on them being fine. But i'm having the whole forks being done by a specialist matching them to my weight and riding style. Also they are going to fit them with low friction fork seals. So nobody knows for sure?

    Front suspension upgrade XB12SS 2009

Hi Guys, I want to upgrade my front forks with Hyperpro springs. However I'm not sure if they have the right one for me. On their website they only sell sets for other models. Is there by any chance a model that is the same as mine? Here is the list they provide...

Wrong heat range in 1 spark plug

@GregoXB Jeese louise, being it my first time on these plugs and being quite new to the Buell / H-D engines and forums doesn't mean I don't know / or can't do anything. I read a lot of times that these plugs don't need to be gapped because they are pre gapped. So yes, I could of done some more...

Pictures or opinion Frank Parsts air scoops XB12Ss

Yeah man, cool.! I eventually bought the little bigger '10 right side scoop. Was at twinmotorcycles and he told me he wasn't very fond of the polyester and the hardner getting hot. It didn't cool as much as the stock ones, but still I love the look.

Wrong heat range in 1 spark plug

Hi guys, 2 weeks ago I changed my plugs. And while I was at it put Iridium in them. So I bought 2x DCPR9EIX (so i thought). Went and put them in and drove them for about 800 - 1000 km (I drove a lot those weeks). Today I removed my left scoop to prep for paint and thought lets see the...
